Soft-shell fabric with 4-way stretch is water resistant, breathable and stretchy so you stay comfortable without a lot of extra layers
Raglan sleeves allow excellent freedom of movement and move seams away from shoulders for better comfort when carrying a pack
Windflap behind zipper blocks drafts and chin guard covers top of zipper to protect sensitive skin from chafing
Zippered handwarmer pockets shelter chilly fingers and a zip interior pocket lets you stash small essentials
Elastic adjustable drawcord hem seals out cold; cuffs adjust with rip-and-stick closure tabs to seal in heat

The color that is displayed on rei.com is very, very different from the other half dozen or so online retailers of the same jacket. I wish I'd checked Google before purchasing. On rei.com, the "violet blue" appears as a nice dark royal. On all other online retailer sites and, of course, in person, it's a pukey light lavendar. Gross! To see the real colour, just Google "marmot levity". So disappointing! The jacket itself is decent, good for warm weather evenings and the colour blind. The waist gusset is just weird. If your hips are slim and you try to use the gussets, you'll have a bunch of extra pooch on your hips large enough to use for storage of a pack lunch.
