The North Face Taiga is a lightweight fleece jacket that promotes warmth on hikes, thanks to PrimaLoft® Eco insulation at the front, collar, lower arms and upper back.

Stretch TKA super stretchy fleece body promotes unrestricted movement for scrambling over boulders and reaching overhead
Abrasion-resistant taffeta overlays at shoulders, chest, upper back and under arms enhance durability, a special plus if you're carrying a pack
Full-length front zipper and brushed collar lining
Elastic binding on cuffs and hem
2 hand pockets and Napoleon-style chest pocket
Zip-in integration feature lets you zip Taiga jacket into compatible shells and parkas from The North Face

I bought this jacket for cooler weather hikes. It's not for extremely cold weather but perfect for those cool, early morning starts to a hike. It rolls up small so I can stick it in my pack if the day warms up. It's stylish and fits true to size.
