The Mountain Hardwear Nazca is a classic women's mountaineering jacket. This waterproof shell moves excess body heat and body vapor fast, to keep you dry on the inside as well as the outside.

    I was originally looking at 2 other jackets but due to sale and stock they were out which is how I found this one and I am glad I did!
    This jacket has surpassed my expectations. It does in fact breathe wonderfully so you don't get hot and sticky/sweaty like some other jackets that don't. The light weightness of it is a huge bonus as well and it fit's well save for sleeves being too long. The hood is large which I do like as I have a larger size head and always worry bout hoods plus it is adjustable not just at the front but in the back to reduce the size!Fantastic! The velcro straps at the wrists do help with the length.
    Overall this is a great jacket for the price!!!

          Love this jacket for all-weather use. I wear this as a quick and light shell for warm rainy days, and also layer it with fleeces or active-wear jackets for cold weather play. This is the only jacket I've found with sleeves long enough to accommodate reaching and arm-bending without hiking up above my gloves. It also has enough room to layer underneath, without looking bulky when I wear it alone. I love the hour-glass fit, since the other issue I often have with jackets is their ability to fit my small top while also accommodating a fuller bottom. The pit-zips make it ideal for exercise in cool or wet weather and allow me to avoid any elaborate layering or un-layering maneuvers on the trail. The only thing I don't wear this for is running, but otherwise this is a great workhorse of an adventure jacket.
