I'm 5'6" and 120lbs bought an XS. Got one as a gift and promptly bought another. I wear it as casual wear, not as a technical piece to go outdoors and spend a lot of time in. I layer it. Very comfortable. Looks great after several washes. Hugs my body, but not too tight or loose. Is cozy without being bulky.

This piece looked so promising! But as I've found with most REI-brand items, it just doesn't quite get there. I was hoping for a cold weather running piece, but the fit and features don't work well for running.

I started with an extra-small (I am 5' 2", 115 lbs) after reading reviews for the half-zip version. It felt like it fit well until I went running, and I could feel that the arm holes were too small. I was being pinched up in the armpit. Also, there is no zipper garage, so the zipper was pressing into my collarbone. So, I exchanged for a small, even though it was a much looser fit (I tossed vanity aside, just hoping it would work well for running). Well, on the small, the zipper doesn't come up anywhere near high enough to keep me warm without a scarf. And the hood is basically ornamental (as it usually is in most casual pieces...I expected it to be functional on an athletic piece). It is very loose and there is no elastic or cinch cord to tighten it. Even without windy conditions, it just blows right off my head (and I don't run all that fast!).

This seems to be one of those pieces that is meant to look athletic but really is for casual wear, maybe for the trip to or from yoga but not for any serious winter aerobic activity. For the price, I expect more.
