My husband is barely a size large, but I'm going to try these in an XL for him. They were too tight up top and they were an inch or more short. I'd say the inseam was about 31". Also, he said the fit and feel were good (other than being a bit small) but was disappointed that there wasn't more in the way of reflectiveness (he runs in the hours before the sun comes up). We'll give it one more try in another size.

These running pants are a great compromise between tights and looser fitting training pants.

These pants do not flop around when you run and they keep you warm in colder weather. On the other hand, they are not overly tight or uncomfortable for those of us that are in shape but still do not wish to wear tights.

I recently used these for a good 10 mile run in rainy, windy and cold (40 degrees) Seattle weather and they were perfect. These pants certainly are not rain proof but they do seem to be water resistant and they kept me perfectly warm during my run in cold weather.

While these pants were suitable in 40ish degree weather, if the climate dropped into the 20's I do think that one might need something even warmer than these (relatively thin) running pants.

decided to pick these up with one of the special 30% off coupons. I normally wear the Brooks Vapor Dry pants in a medium. The REI brand pants fit more like running tights in the same size, even in Large they were still some what of a hybrid between tights and pants. I had to go to a XL to get them to fit anything close to the Brooks. After having done a couple of 40degree runs, I will say that the pants perform very similar to the Brooks. I stayed warm and I barely noticed I was wearing running pants. So, if I can save $25 and get these pants then I will, otherwise I would spend the $10 extra for a pair of Brooks that feel like some effort was put into designing true running pants.

Snug fit for pants, but that is what I wanted.
Pants are usually baggy & tights are too "tight".
I am concerned the outside of fabric might be prone to snags, but too early to tell.
My only issue is that they are a bit too short & should be longer.

I bought these pants to run in the cold. The waist string broke and pulled out after the first time in the washing machine. I was going to return them but never got around to it. I run in these pants 4 days a week and have put over 200 miles on them this fall/winter. They stay up just fine without the tie string and seem true to size. I have ran in temperatures in the low teens and the pants keep my legs warm and do a good job of wicking moisture away from my skin. They are a bargain for the price.
