Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Men's:
I am 6'1" 185 lbs and wear a 34/32 in pants. Finding ski pants that fit properly was a pain due to the fact that most mediums are too tight and most larges are too loose. These were the Goldilocks pants for me after trying on a ton of pants from 686, Burton, Patagonia, Columbia, and obviously The North Face. They are super comfortable, warm, and waterproof. They also look pretty cool. What more can you ask for in a pair of ski pants?

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Men's:
I love the extremely large pocket on the right leg. It it big enough to carry another pair of gloves and maybe even a light hat. The velcro that helps hold the waist together worked great. Excellent range of movement and are extremely warm. Kept my legs warm in 0 degree weather with a fair amount of wind with only a light pair of sweatpants. The hip pockets are not the best, small and hard to access with gloves and a jacket. The right pocket has some sort of clipping mechanism with a leash. If you are tall and skinny like me, go for the tall.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Men's:
These pants are great! I've worn them in conditions down to 0 deg F with just one layer of long underwear and not been cold. They are also very durable. I've had them catch in the lift chair (sit on the deck and it pinched against the frame) and they did not tear. Also like the buddy clip for the lift ticket - clip it on and can then tuck in the pocket or leave it out with no problems.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Men's:
I bought these because I had lost my other pair of ski pants that I have had forever and needed some for my trip to Alaska. These seemed to fit my price range and seemed like a good choice. A good choice it was, these pants helped me in fridged cold, feet of snow, and a nice hike up Peak 3. These pants helped make my trip enjoyable due to its warmth and comfort. However, while hiking they were a bit bulky and heavy, but that is the only complaint I can have. Otherwise these were a great buy and would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Men's:
I bought these pants as a first-time skier with the intention of using them for many ski-trips to come. It turns on that I made an excellent decision! The pockets were ample enough for my license, credit card, and iPhone with Otterbox Defender case on it. The leg vents worked very well to let the heat vent out the one day it got up to 60 degrees and the pants kept me very warm when the temp dropped into the upper teens. The were water-tight and very comfortable! No cons here!

Comments about The North Face Freedom Insulated Pants - Men's:
I am a beginner when it comes to snowboarding. This has been my first season trying out the sport and these pants have been great! Down here in SoCal it can get pretty warm on the slopes so the venting system helped a lot! Being a beginner I was able to test the durability of these pants consistently because I was falling a lot. After a couple full days of snowboarding I was never wet or clammy. I wore the pants this weekend on a hike through snow, water, and sledding. Again, I was completely dry and satisfied. I took some tumbles sledding through rocks and sticks that were sticking out of the snow because it has been melting fasts. After all the tumbles, the pants are still perfectly fine with no tears or scuff marks. Unfortunately, I can't say that about the rest of my body. The one downside was that the waist is a little bit large. I'm 5'11, 160 lbs. and a 30-31 waist. I couldn't find that dialed in perfect fit but the elastic adjustments on the waist helped me get very close to perfect. I still have a little bit longer to grow so hopefully I'll fit right into them by next season. I can tell I'm going to keep these pants a long long time! Good investment.
