The North Face Freedom Low-Rise Boot-Cut Insulated women's long-length snow pants allow enhanced motion on the move. They also stand up to winter temperatures with a waterproof, breathable coating.

Quiet and abrasion-resistant HyVent™ 2-layer coated nylon is completely waterproof, windproof and breathable; fully sealed seams prevent moisture seepage
Embossed taffeta lining and insulation made from 100% recycled polyester fibers offer warmth that's resilient, water repellent and hypoallergenic
Articulated knees aid in fit, allowing freedom of movement
Outer thigh vents and internal leg gaiters with stretch-mesh gussets work together to control airflow and regulate temperature
Warmth is regulated by allowing cool, dry air to flow in through mesh gussets as heated, moist air rises and exits upper thigh vents
Leg gaiters feature elastic grippers to seal out snow around boots and help regulate warmth
Features zippered handwarmer pockets and a single roomy cargo pocket

I love the style of these pants and how they fit. It's so hard to find outdoor gear with longer inseams. However, even though the pant legs were longer, the rise wasn't adjusted accordingly (measurement from waist to crotch seam). I'm 5'8" with a 33" inseam and these pants were 'low rise' pants on me. Sadly I had to return these because I don't want to wear low rise pants when I'm outside in the winter.

Comments about The North Face Freedom LRBC Insulated Pants - Women's Long Sizes:

I tried a couple of different ski pants and these have the best fit. Enough room to wear layers underneath, but not super bulky. Adjustable waist, large leg openings for boots. I'm more of a "sit on the slopes with the kids" mom right now, so I can't vouch for ski usage, but these have been great for lounging outside in 10-50F weather. My only con is that the waistband can be stiff when you sit down, but it's easily remedied by unsnapping the waist. These were a great buy though, awesome quality for the price, so I'm giving them 5stars!
