Comments about NRS Big Earl Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard - 10' 6":
My wife and I returned to the midwest from a trip to Hawaii hooked on stand up paddle boarding. Not having a large vehicle to carry a conventional rigid board we took a chance and invested in this inflatable model not sure what to expect. It turns out this was a good investment. Admittedly we are novices having only been paddling for 4 months but Big Earl has met all our expectations and works perfect on the lakes and rivers we have used it on. It is plenty rigid for use at 10 psi and is virtually as hard as a regular sup board at 15 psi. You can't beat the portability. The time it takes to inflate is only 4 or 5 minutes and is a very simple process. There have been a few times when a heavier person on the board has caused it to leak a little air but not to outright deflate. It is very durable and has and survived a few encounters with rocks and logs with only a few minor scratches. If you have a small vehicle but enjoy stand up paddle boarding wherever you travel this is an ideal product.
