The REI Tech Beast 32 rolling duffle is a rugged, cavernous beast that's perfect for travel adventures that include multiple destinations with lengthy activity lists.

Rugged telescopic pull handle locks in up/down position; a soft-touch handle grip ensures comfort and control through the twists and turns of travel
Rugged wheels and housings provide durability and smooth wheeling for the long haul
Interior frame provides structure and upright stability for transport ease
Full zippered panel-opening main compartment offers easy access
Large lower front pocket has an internal expansion zipper to provide extra storage for laundry bag or shoes/boot storage
Fully lined interior features 2 compression straps and 2 side zippered mesh pockets for organization
Zippered front pocket allows quick stashing and easy access to travel convenience items
Grab handles include 1 on each side, 1 on top, 1 on the front and 1 on the bottom

Bag is large and stable. Rolls well, packs well.

Bad side is, the handle brake on first trip. It's the plastic where it goes into bag that holds the stopper. Too bad something like that ruined the deal. It went back.

This duffle is nicely laid out and feels solid. However, the handle broke during its first day of use! The handle feels solid, but the rubber used around it is not of good quality and separates easily. When that happens, it can become difficult to work the button that allows the handle to raise and lower.

We use this bag for dive gear. I love the internal straps to help squeeze everything in to get all the possible room in the bag. The baggage goons weren't able to hurt this bag(yet) so I was well pleased with the durability.

I bought this duffel in early 2010 for a trip overseas. This is a sturdy, dependable duffel and for its size, is fairly easy to handle. It has since been on a few more overseas outdoor adventures and rolled across some rough terrain and is holding up nicely. Last year I went ahead and purchased the 22" carry-on and am happy with that as well.
