The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Used this item for the first time recently. Love that I can load up the daypack, attach it to the suitcase, and count it as one item of checked luggage. It easily held enough clothing for a one-week spring/summer trip. Lots of pockets for stashing smaller items. Nice that it comes in a non-black color for easier ID at baggage claim. Handles well as rolling bag; have not yet tried carrying it as backpack when loaded.

Comments about REI Stratocruiser Wheeled Convertible Luggage - 25":
While planning for a RTW I was often discouraged from taking a rolling pack due to the added weight, but having a mild back injury I felt it was best for me. I am so glad I did and I can't tell you how many times people envied my 2 wheels. In 18 months across the US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, I used the backpack straps one time for less than 10 minutes. Rolling was an ease. My pack was heavy though at about 20KG. I could have managed with less, but even then the Stratocruiser held everything perfectly. I used e-bags cubes and was very organized.
My only suggestions/ critiques are that the inside pockets on the top panel cannot hold much or you wont be able to zip the bag. At first I was frustrated with this but then I realized it help me keep the weight down and the main zipper secure.
There are no tears, no zipper problems, the wheels are beat up but still roll with ease. I am amazed at how well this bag has held up.

Comments about REI Stratocruiser Wheeled Convertible Luggage - 25":
My wife and I purchased two of these for a 3 week trip to France and Italy and loved them. They are well made and easy to travel with, but note they are not carry-on size (get the smaller version for that).
Really important features are strong shock absorbing wheels for gliding across the cobblestones and REI quality zippers. And the removable day packs are really handy for those carry-on items you don't want to check.
