The girls' REI Down Infant suit will help keep young explorers warm from head to toe with goose down insulation and water-resistant recycled polyester.

Recycled polyester shell and lining are made with recycled PET polyester; Durable Water Repellent finish resists water and chilly winds
Insulated with quality 550-fill-power goose down for warmth, light weight and compressibility
Elasticized, 3-panel hood offers a snug and comfortable fit
Sleeve and leg cuffs with spandex binding fold over to seal in warmth and protect little hands and feet from cold weather
Full-length zipper entry makes dressing, undressing and diaper changes easy

When the baby was small we covered her hands, once she was bigger, her hands fit out- got 2 seasons out of it that way. Really easy to throw in washer and dryer. Compressible to pack into diaper bag. Light! Only drawback was how slippery the baby is when you try to hold them on the hip. Needs rubber treads between the legs!

This keeps my daughter toasty warm without all the bulk of a regular infant snowsuit. My daughter is 6 months old and on the small side, but the 6 month size fits her well. She has room to grow but is not drowning in it. I absolutely love this suit and would recommend it to all my friends in cold climates.

I spent a lot of time trying to select the perfect suit for our daughter. This one is it! She is 10 months old, but we bought the 18 month size. Yes, it is a bit big, but since she's either in the jogger or the back pack when she's outside with us, it doesn't matter. It is thin enough that the sleeves are easy to roll up if we want her hands exposed. It provides plenty of warmth. We will definitely get two full seasons out of it.
