The men's Patagonia Hi-Loft Down Sweater is like the basic version, only warmer! With bigger channels and more fill, this extra toasty jacket is ideal as a midlayer or stand-alone in cold climes.

Sharp-looking, ripstop polyester shell, with a Durable Water Repellent finish, blocks the wind and resists tears and abrasion
Finer details include top-quality 800-fill-power goose down, a quilted-through construction, nylon-bound elastic cuffs and a drawcord hem

I rode my bike in 19-degree weather this morning and was very warm. I felt no wind, even around the collar. I can't believe how light this jacket is. When the weather gets colder, I plan to use it under my winter coat, in which it fits well without feeling constricted anywhere.
