Comments about Patagonia Tres 3-in-1 Parka - Men's:

This is a terrific all around jacket for day/night use in a city. Waterproof and windproof. Will look good with jeans or even over professional clothing. I live in Portland where we get plenty of rain and this thing keeps me warm and dry. Not sure why other reviewer wants a waist cinch. It isn't needed and would ruin the look. I personally wouldn't use it for skiing or hiking. While I think you definitely could use it for that, it isn't the "right" look. I think it's perfect for weather in the 20-55 degree range. If you took out the removable portion, could probably wear it into mid 60's range, too. It's fairly true to size. I'm in my early 40's, gained a few pounds in the middle (5'10', 180#) and I still got the M. L would be too big for me.

Comments about Patagonia Tres 3-in-1 Parka - Men's:

Fantastic material, nice color. Sleeves only button, and are very long. In a large, they are probably 37-38 inches so might be great for tall skinny guys. Nice fit in shoulders and movement for a 43 reg. No waist cinch, but the cut is pretty trim. Why do jacket manufacturers leave this feature out of jackets? To save 20 cents? Down inner jacket lacks a two-way zipper so it cannot be used on its own. Once again, why leave that off? Better off getting a light weight down sweater and layering with a shell.
