I wear a size 8. I purchased this boot in a 9 for easier on and off because the neck is smaller. I do have to sit down to get them on but I couldn't be any happier. They are big but not sloppy and the traction was great mowing the grass; very solid footing. Love the dark color so the green from the grass doesn't show. I felt no rubbing on any sides. So much better than my old ones; bye-bye old ones. They were heavier and thicker, stiffer than I expected but not so much as to distract from their need to be. Great shoe!
