Comments about Manduka eKO Lite Yoga Mat:
I picked this up as my "travel" mat because it folds up nice and small into a suitcase (I travel weekly for work and prefer to avoid the shared mats at the studios).
If you don't sweat much, this mat might work alright for you, but it is far too slippery for me. I'm a sweater, and this mat is no good for holding my grip. I often have to use a towel on top of it to prevent slippage.
My "standby" mat is a Jade and its far superior in both non-slip and cushioning. The Jade holds like glue no matter how slick I get. Both are thin mats, which I like, but the Manduka offers close to 0 cushioning. Wish I picked up another Jade for my travel choice...

Comments about Manduka eKO Lite Yoga Mat:
I bought this mat for yoga travel and have been very disappointed with its performance. First the good things: it's very durable and portable (tho a bit heavy). But I practice vinyasa power yoga and once my hands and feet get sweaty I lose the grip on my mat. It's literally impossible to hold a pose once I get a little sweaty. I'm surprised because Manduka is such a good company, but this mat just doesn't work.
