        This stereo now is one of my can't leave behind for hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, beach, anywhere you want music....anywhere.

        I dropped this off a 50 foot cliff while clipped to a sack of boche balls. Not only did it slide all the way down hitting rocks the 30lb boche set landed directly on it. When I caught up to the wreckage not only was the stereo fine, no dents at all, but the iPhone was still playing. Amazing.

            I have lost many a radio or mp3 players on the river or at the pool, this was the solution to my problems. This is an incredible product. I use it on frequent kayak and canoe trips or just hanging out on the back porch grilling. Great sound quality and it can really take a beating. Its completely waterproof. It can also hold keys phone and wallet inside to keep dry.

              ok, so did not buy from rei (and i guess i can't mention where) - rei didnt even have it when i bought it, otherwise i would get it from here :) ...but i love this product. as much as i like dark colors, i wanted it for travel, camping, kayaking and so i got the orange so i could easily spot it. i use rechargeable batteries and seem to last really long time...i would hate to hazard a guess but my ipod dies way before the batteries. while heavy, i wanted waterproof, so i will deal with that. i actually use it in the shower at home and have no complaints.

                I have this habit of going camping in the snow. I use this Grace Eco as I sit in snowstorms and read and goof around the campsite. It sounds great. It's plenty loud. Haven't yet gone through a set of batteries. Great protection for my iPod. I've even knocked it off the table a couple times with no resulting damage. It's simply one of my favorite things to use while camping.

                  During a kayaking & rafting trip in the north Georgia mountains last summer with a group of friends, everyone said that we wished we had music with us. As soon as we returned from our trip, I immediately found this speaker case online. One of the best purchases I've made for our water recreational activities!!! My husband literally tossed it in the pool last weekend, it floated, did not leak & sounded great. Love this little treasure. We take it everywhere with us now! We have already recommended the ECO EXTREME speaker case to several friends and family and they are also very happy with it!! I would give more than a 5 star rating if I could :)
