    I've been buying Yakima products - a lot of them - for 27 years, and have been happy with them until I bought this WaveHog at REI. It is truly a foolish, poorly designed piece of junk - definitely not a secure way to transport your paddle board. Avoid even the price is cut in half.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      Comments about Yakima WaveHog:

      The wavehog straps create a very secure board attachement to my rack but they were so stiff and difficult to thread though the clamping device. Then to make it even more difficult to use the release button was impossible to hold down. It took forever to get by board strapped down and ready for travel.
