Comments about Surftech Laird 12' 1" Stand Up Paddleboard:

I mostly use this board for flat-water paddling in the bay. I'm a novice, so this was an excellent progression from the rentals I've been using. The board is extremely stable. I'm 5'11 and 235lbs, and I haven't fallen off this board once so its very confidence inspiring. Very comfortable in the chop and swells and passing boat wakes too. My only complain is the tracking isnt as good as I'd like it to be. Otherwise great stability, build quality, and traction pad is nice. The volume gives superb flotation, I can take my kid along with me and we still are above the top water line. Could be faster too, but best you can expect with a board of this width. Overall very happy.

A great board for all skill levels, this board is super stable and glides well. it can be surfed, is stable for fishing standing up, has been used for overnights (gear attached to nose), and is perfect for beginners seeking a stable board to improve your skills with. The pintail has efficient water release making it a touch faster than the previous Ron House square tail version.
