    Comments about Harmony BTS Rudder Kit:

    Overall a good Rudder kit. Fit a wide variety of kayaks. I used this kit to install a rudder on a Perception Prodigy II 14.5. I had two issues during the install.

    First was that it was hard to figure out the best way to run the rudder tubing. Had to try several setups before I got everything squared away.

    The second issue was that the rudder cables supplies were 1-2" too short. The foot braces for the Prodigy II 14.5 Tandem are set pretty far forward in the deck. I had to install the slider foot pedal 1-2" back from where it should be. Over all it doesn't effect the movement of the rudder. It just made it a llitle bit more instresting to install.

    Other than thoses two snags installation was unevenful. I did have to go to Perceptions web site to look over a tutoral on their website on how to install the rudder since there are no directions in the kit for any Perception kayaks.

    Once installed the rudder works like a dream. Makes tracking while going up stream and into a head wind so much easier. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was the installation issue, which I have to admit was due to the kayak I was installing it on.
