The Big Agnes Silver Creek sleeping bag is a great choice for car camping enthusiasts on a budget!
- Ripstop nylon shell uses a Durable Water Repellent finish to repel moisture; breathable taffeta/cotton lining feels soft against skin
- Polyester fiber insulation offers downlike warmth, resists moisture and dries quickly
- Underside insulation has been eliminated and replaced with a sleeve for a 72 x 20 in. sleeping pad, not included
- Continuous oversize draft wedge insulates the connection between the bag and pad to prevent cold air from entering
- Features a 2-way, full-length, locking zipper with big, easy-to-grab zipper pull
- Large draft tube located behind the zipper prevents warm air from escaping and cold air from entering
- Built-in pillow sleeve stuffs with a jacket or a camping pillow

I am a avid backpacker and group Scout camper so i buy alot of camping/backpacking equipment. I purchased the BA because of price and interest. Its a well built bag, not very compactable but it sqeezed tightly inside the bag compartment of my pack. I purchased the BA mummy sleeping pad to go with the bag mainly because the bag itself has a sleeve that holds a 20x72 mummy pad for comfort. Against all my better judgment and experinces I put the two togeather on a 30 degree bag. The out side temps dropped to about 39 degrees and so did the air temp of the sleeping pad. Strange sleep because the top half of bag was warm and the bottom contact points of bag was freezing cold. So bottom line.... the bag needs more insulation on bottom portion of bag incase you use or dont use a pad, and this would be a great combo on a 55+ bag (summer early spring) not a 30degrees bag.
