This jacket is true to size, but fits close to the body, so it's a super layer under other jackets you already own. It's light and comfortable and warm without being bulky, so I find I wear it around the house a lot in the winter. Put in on under a down sweater or a heavier jacket, and you're good to go outside on a cold day.

Great jacket for my high school son to wear to school but the fit is a bit off for a 6'2" trim teen. The medium is a bit short but the large was too big across the shoulders and chest. It will work for now but he will probably outgrow it in length in a matter of weeks.

Fit is very nice. I like that the sleeves have open cuffs that are just the right width, and the sleeves are cut large enough to fit a layer underneath, but not so large they look and feel oversized. As usual, REI has the thing finished well - quality zippers, nicely lined cuffs, waist/hem. Solid garment and good value.

I wear this fleece jacket all the time. At home, at work, and on the trail. It's the perfect amount of comfort, yet stylish to wear to non-formal social outings. I love it. people say that I shouldn't wear it as often, but I just can't help myself. I sleep in a hammock while camping, and it's so comfortable that I'm thinking of making a quilt out of similar fabric while summer hiking and camping!

I really do love this product. For the price, it's really fantastic. Although I'd like to have a chest pocket (like my Northface) the hand pockets are big enough to accommodate all my stuff. The zippers are really fantastic; solid with AWESOME pulls. I kinda wish the cuffs has come elasticized but it was a quick fix with some scissors, elastic cordage, needle and thread.
Overall I really like this jacket. It's VERY comfortable. The collar lays flat when you want it to. And honestly, it looks pretty smart. I've warn it to the mountains but I also wore it when visiting a finance client of mine on a cold morning- they commented on how they'd like to own one.
Overall, you won't be disappointed with this jacket... Great job REI.

This is a great jacket. I am a very slim 6 foot 1 inch, 150 pounds and this jacket is perfect (Medium). The first day I wore it I received several comments on how good it looked on me. It is warm but not too warm for the mild Georgia winters we get. I love this jacket. It is not windproof or waterproof but is a great top layer on cool days and mid layer on windy/cold days.
