Belltown covered me comfortably through the diverse conditions of our Pacific Northwest. I encountered mountain snows, rainy, windy coastlines and seafood restaurants. It layered well and met all that was promised. The tailoring provided comfort and looked nice. It was crumpled (several ways)and retained its crisp appearance.

I have jackets for hiking, running, and gardening, and I have coats for when I dress up, but I wanted a jacket that would look nice for around-town and for packing to wear on vacations. This Belltown jacket has a good weight for when I want protection against Seattle's pervasive wet chill, but is not bulky. I appreciate the waist-cinch option and the upper inner pocket for a cell-phone/mp3 player. I would have liked the option to detach the hood, but all in all, I am quite satisfied.

I bought this jacket to take on vacation, wanted something that wouldn't take up much room in the suitcase, and this works for that. Wrinkles hang out well. My only gripe (and I can be really picky) is that it is not warm. It does have a nice lining, but would be nicer to have a warmer one. Still trying to find a warm inner layer to wear with it. Would give this a 5 if it had a warm liner.
