        I wasn't able to install the fenders the first night because the bolt to hang the front fender on the downtube was too big for the hold on my 15 year old Trek and I needed to get long screws for the rear supports to since they have to share an eyelet with my rear rack. Once I had new hardware it was very quick and easy to install and adjust. I use my bike as an all weather commuter and these fenders have done a great job in the melting slush after our last snow.

          I just bought and installed these myself. I am new to mountain biking. I own the 2012 Raleigh talus 3.0. I intend to start commuting and the occasional trail workout. These fenders are adequately installed now. However it took a little work to get it right. I had two problems to overcome. 1. The back fender has a clip on the very front of it. This is suppose to clip to the small frame cross member near the very bottom a bike. It did not fit on my bike. However there is a whole there also that can be mounted properly to the preexisting whole on my bike. To do this I had to remove the clip by drilling out the two rivets that it is mounted by. 2. Front fender: My bike has no holes to mount the stays. They do need to be mounted. I used zip ties. I think this will work fine. My bike is black and so are the ties so it is barely noticeable.

          With some ingenuity I was able to get these on and feel that they will be a good addition to my bike. They definitely get the tires covered.

            I recently converted my old mountain bike into a commuter bike and got these fenders to keep the spray off me. They went on very easy in just 15 minutes and seem like they are pretty sturdy. These were pretty easy to install due to my bike having V-brakes.
