Seems to work great everytime. Even has measurement lines on it. I could see the latching mechanicm potentially breaking, but so far it has held up great.

Comments about MSR Alpine Spoon:

This spoon seemed cool because it was lightweight and could be used for serving like a ladle. However, the design of the spoon is bad because it is flimsy and the locking mechanism for the spoon is very difficult to undo. I would expect better from MSR.
