Comments about Outbound Stowaway BBQ Fork - Special Buy:
So far I've used this on a 3-night solo paddle in Voyageur's. Perfect for what I wanted it for: turning steaks on the fire grate and lifting the lid on my MSR Alpine Stowaway pot. Also works for pushing/dragging a pot on the grate. Really nice to have the full extension to keep hands away from the fire. Definitely not built for prolonged exposure to fire or for lifting something heavy like a dutch oven. Would not use for marshmallow roasting.
The leather cord is worthless, I pulled it off. Oiling the wood handle is a good idea.

Comments about Outbound Stowaway BBQ Fork - Special Buy:
I got this because I needed $5 more to fulfil a free shipping requirement. I had no idea what I could use it for but took it camping anyway. It didn't work as a hot dog fork because the tines are not long enough. Same for marshmallows. It's not strong enough to move around big logs in the fire and the head broke off after 2 days of poking coals. I think someone in some cubicle somewhere was under a deadline and this was the best they could come up with. It really serves no purpose.
