My 8 year old daughter wears her beanie every day to school, and loves it because it keeps her head and ears warm, and it's easy to put on and take off. The beanie fits well, so it doesn't need a chin strap to keep it from falling off. The Lagoon color is very nice, and I would describe it as a teal color.
