      If you are an active amputee you gotta have at least a couple of these with you all the time. When I had my leg amputated I was looking for some way to secure my pant leg out of the way. I remembered seeing these at REI so I picked some up and tried them. They work great! I went skiing in Whistler, BC 6 wks after my amputation and used these straps. when I went back a few weeks later there were other amputees waiting to ask me about my cool straps. I ended up giving my extra one to an amputee from Australia who was securing the leg of her ski pants with duct tape. Now I always carry plenty of extras in case I need to give more away. Thanks for making life as an active amputee a little easier!
