Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Trail Hydration Waistpack - 21 fl. oz.:
I purchased this on Friday to run the Mt. Diablo 10k trail run, and everything was perfect until I ran into rougher terrain while jumping across creeks. My bottle, only used one, came off 5 times during the run. Very frustating and I ended up carrying the bottle in my hand except when running uphill. This is a great system for those not intended to be doing a lot of impact running.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Trail Hydration Waistpack - 21 fl. oz.:
Tested out the Amphipod Runlite AirStretch hydration waist pack/bottles on a 9 mile run today. This was the only waist pack that had a fully adjustable belt, which meant I could actually synch it tight enough around my small waist. The pack is big enough for a phone, id, keys, gloves, windjacket (I didn't bring one) and your choice of energy foods. It also has a bungee on the outside of it, which I was able to strap my minimalist shoes to in case I needed them. I filled both 10 oz bottles with water, which I had a little trouble getting off the belt while running, but that's a learning curve. They easily snapped back in and held securely in place. The shoes made the whole belt a little heavy and slightly awkward, which in turn made the pack bounce a little and ride up to my waist instead of staying closer to my hips. Better than carrying my shoes the whole time though.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Trail Hydration Waistpack - 21 fl. oz.:
For runs over 10 miles, or just for finicky mountain weather, this pack allows for rain/wind jacket and thin jacket, gloves, hat to be carried or shed as needed without the feeling of added bulk or bounce.
Simply add the pack to your hips and snug the belt to it stretches with you but does not bounce (learn to run barefoot/minimalist to really reduce bounce!). I've never had issues with bottles falling out on technical mountain trails, and I run the Colorado mountains year-round, including 30+ miles. Excellent pack.
My one con is the nipple on the bottles is hard on the teeth, especially at temps below 30˚F, requiring use of fingers to close. Fix that and this is a perfect pack. Much prefer to Nathan's offerings.
