      Comments about Black Diamond Mission 75 Pack:

      I really wanted to like this pack, and did like it during my training. I thought it was a great balance of size, weight, and functionality for our climb. However, the pack started to fall apart on day 2 on the mountain. Each of the outer straps running vertically tore while being tightened, creating a big problem on the mountain. Another guy in our group bought the same pack at around the same time and had the same problem with his straps.

      I bought this bag through Black Diamond, and their customer service was FANTASTIC. They definitely stand behind their products, and I received a full refund. But I would choose a different model next time.

        Just did 30 miles - very comfortable - easily adjusted down for day hike gear -
        This pack did everything it said it would.
        Crampon "holster" proved useful for quick access to water bottle(upside down)
        I'm a narrow guy and finally found a pack that accomodates a narrow frame without ripping my shoulders out.
        Only reason I knocked it down a notch is the chest strap tends to fall off when not loaded - almost lost it.
