Comments about Osprey Viper 10 Hydration Pack - 100 fl. oz.:
I was in need of a new pack and this one looked about right, so I used my dividend to buy it. It feels and fits great, the pack has a little bit of stiffness to it so it won't just fall off. The shoulder straps feel great and have a lot of ventilation and the magnet hose is nothing you will find in any Camelbak. The design and materials all feel like they will hold up for a lifetime of use. I'll be using this for weekend mountain biking and mountain bike races throughout Oregon.

Comments about Osprey Viper 10 Hydration Pack - 100 fl. oz.:
I really wanted to love this bag. When the shoulder straps were adjusted tight enough to keep the bag from shifting around when biking through rough terrain, the lower strap tightener thing would cut into my chest on the side kinda near my pits. I tried to loosen it up, but then the bag was slopping around too much for my liking. So I picked up a Camelbak Lobo and now I'm very happy.
YMMV for sure depending on your height/weight. I'm 6'2" 200#. Glad for REI's return policy because I really needed to use the bag for a few hours to discover that I couldn't live with it.
Other than the issue I had, it's a great little pack. I have a Raptor 14 and I'm very happy with it as a larger pack, so now I have a Camelbak Lobo for summer and the Raptor for winter and/or long rides requiring more storage.

I mountain bike the colorado springs area and would never go out without my osprey. i have had multiple camelbacks and have never liked one as much as i do the osprey. maganetic drinking tube holder is genius and it uses a nalgene bladder which you just cant beat. Highly recommend any osprey hydration system.
