  • All proceeds, after cost, benefit The Wilderness Society, a leading American conservation organization that works to protect America's wilderness and public lands
  • Since 1935, The Wilderness Society has helped to permanently protect more than 109 million acres of America's wilderness in 44 states
  • Proceeds from sales will go to protecting the wildlands of Washington State, including places where people camp, hike and explore
  • Cover art was designed by Seattle-area graphic designer, artist and musician Joshua Dennis; design was chosen through a cover art contest
  • Limited edition run of 25,000 copies

        I saw a tweet from my favorite singer Meiko saying that she had a new song on this benefit CD, so I immediately bought it. SO GOOD! I like the Sara Bareilles song too but it's just a different version of the song they play on the radio. I'm glad I picked this up!

        This is a fantastic collection - I've been a fan of Train and Collective Soul for a while, but I've been hearing a lot about the singer-songwriter MEIKO lately, and I've got to say, her song is my favorite on the disc! Looking forward to more from Meiko - and I hope The Mountain continues with these great benefit CDs!
