The Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 tent is so light and spacious, you'll use it whether you're with 2 friends or on a solo trip.

  • Lightpath is also tough when it comes to standing up during serious backcountry weather; you'll be comfortable waiting out the storms in this commodious abode
  • Non-freestanding design is quick and easy to setup with clips, clip loops and reflective starter points, even in the dark or bad weather—or both!
  • Features a large door and mesh canopy walls for views and excellent ventilation during warm nights
  • Tall vestibule with 2 separate entrances into tent stores your gear and protects the entry in heavy weather; features a clear, nonyellowing SVX window
  • Dry-entry vestibule design prevents water from dripping inside tent when vestibule is open, improving livability
  • Atlas 7001 poles are anodized for corrosion- and dent-resistance and come with patented Delrin shock tips, so they're completely field serviceable by hand
  • Opposing double-slider door zippers make variable venting easy
  • For extra stability each guyout point clips to the frame on the interior side of the rainfly via welded attachment points
  • All guyout points are reflective for easy identification, and canopy pockets keep tent organized; optional gear loft sold separately
  • Superlight buckles and webbing save weight
  • Mountain Hardwear Watertight Construction: Thoughtful design, taping and welding technology combine to make this tent watertight off the shelf. No seam sealing is required
  • The Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 tent comes with stuff sacks, stakes and guyline/tighteners
  • Average minimum weight specification is based on tent, rainfly and poles only

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 Tent - 2010 Closeout:

Stood up to strong wind and rain storms in Utah with rain-cover attached and the whole time felt sturdy through the wind knocking it back and forth for hours. One morning there was lots of water trapped under the tent (not the tent's fault) but was surprised and happy to see none of it soaked through the floor fabric.

Easy to set up, takes maybe 2-3 minutes; tear down 5-7 minutes. Very roomy for two 6' people plus large backpacks. 3 persons should not be a problem, but a head-to-foot orientation is not possible.

Recommended as a lighter tent that does not compromise function.
