Low-profile padded mesh back panel and mesh shoulder straps offer next-to-body comfort; sternum strap has a magnetic bite valve attachment to keep bite valve easily accessible
Large zippered main pocket with tool organization sleeves and a mesh pocket is ideal for carrying pumps, bike tools and tubes; includes a key clip
Front zippered pocket is lined with a soft, easy-to-clean heat-embossed fabric; small elastic mesh pocket on shoulder strap fits a cell phone or small media player
Quickly attach a helmet to the Viper 7 with the LidLock™ helmet clip; a bungee on the exterior of the pack allows easy adjustment of the LidLock feature

Great little pack. 70L isn't too much extra weight, yet it has lasted me an entire afternoon ride. Couple of Compartments big enough to hold spare tube, fork pump, hand pump, multi-tool, and patch kit. Only have had it for a couple of weeks, and haven't quite learned how to dry the bladder out, completely, yet. So I am kind of scared that there will be some little nasties growing in there when summer rolls around.

This is a great little pack. Don't try to fit a lot of junk in it but that's not what it was made for. I wanted a hydration pack that would hold the essential things that you need for a few hour mountain bike ride (pump, tube, bike tool, and energy bar) or trail run. As with all Osprey packs it is made of the best quality materials as well as a thoughtful design and layout. I would highly recommend this pack for anyone that wants a hydration pack that carries well and is full of features.

Traded up from a smaller camelback with 2 years of use. It was fine but when adding a battery pack it just wasn't working with tube,etc. Saw the viper 7 in mountain bike action and based on reviews, decided to give it a try. From Osprey's web found some dealers and wow- REI's price and free shipping was great. To top it off I received the product 4 days. Only one short mtb ride but even though it will hold a massive amount compared to my old camel, it was more comfortable and lighter. great product,greater service and price.
