Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Axis 4 Tent - Special Buy:
Nice tent to have for car camping. For added shade you can fit it under a 10' square ez up with three walls. Great selection for a Couple who likes extra room, or small family.
I did set up and it passed a hose down test. I also purchased the optional tarp for underneath the tent.

Comments about ALPS Mountaineering Axis 4 Tent - Special Buy:
I wanted a 3 or 4 person tent to use for canoe/portage trips. Thought about buying this tent for a couple weeks before getting it. Finally found some reviews on a different site and decided to go for it. Three people would possibly fit OK laying the longer way, with extra room at your head or feet. Four people would need to lay the short way. The tent is taller and wider at the main door. Unless they were about 5'2" tall, a person laying at the short end would have their head or feet against the tent wall. The small door does not unzip across the bottom, so you need to unzip it almost completely, no squeezing through to prevent mosquitoes from entering. There are 4 mesh storage pockets, two small ones at each side of the small door, one above the main door and one on the side of the main door. There are two loops above each door for hanging small items, or running a rope the length of the tent. It's well ventilated with both vestibules open and the fly has a couple of small vents in front of the main door that can be openned when it's raining. It's easy for one person to set up and take down, with the instructions sewn into the bag. It all goes back into the bag with a little room to spare. Just got back from a 4 night trip of canoeing and portaging. The tent has been in moderate rains three times with no leaking. The vestibules at each end are very nice to have. It's heavier than most people would want to carry for very long, but works well for my use. I'm happy with this purchase.
