Comments about Giro Monaco Bike Gloves:
It's a light, breathable and durable glove that I've been using for 2 seasons but it does stretch too much when it gets wet from sweat or rain. it does return to shape when it dries.
glove stretch is not a good thing, I've been out of the saddle on steep hills and I can feel my hands floating around inside the gloves which requires me to add extra grip pressure. And I even purchased a full size smaller than my hand so they are very tight when I put on, but after an hour they are quite loose. So my smalls feel great when I put them on, but they stretch to a full large size glove quickly.
In summary, it's a great glove if you are a casual rider or don't do much hard climbing, otherwise I'd skip and go with something that doesn't stretch.

Comments about Giro Monaco Bike Gloves:
These gloves would be great (fit, comfort, padding, appearance) if not for a critical flaw: The black leather dye transfers to my hands after riding more than an hour, especially when sweating. Requires multiple hand washings to remove it. Tried washing the gloves. Same problem over three rides. Called Giro customer service and was told they have not received similar complaints and offered to replace them. I really liked these gloves otherwise, so exchanged at REI for another pair. Same problem over three rides! I'm done with them. Returning to REI. This never happened with my Pearl Izumi Select Gels.

Comments about Giro Monaco Bike Gloves:
I replaced a set of Pearl Izumi Gel gloves that I bought in April because they were incredibly uncomfortable. This is by far the most comfortable glove that I have owned and the durability has been wonderful so far. The only downside is they do get a little warm because of the leathe palm (it was 100 degrees outside so I guess anything is warm)

Comments about Giro Monaco Bike Gloves:
I'm a long time (30+ years) tourist. Most expensive gloves I've ever bought. I thought for the price that their quality would also be better. They did not hold up to other brands that I've used in the past. Very stiff after washing. Mesh has torn after just a few rides. I've gone back to my old standby's which are more comfortable, fit better, and last longer at half the price.
