Comments about REI Camp Chair:
Looks like a decent chair, but the seat sags a lot, so once you sit in it, you are really low to the ground and it is not very comfortable. We bought two chairs and both had this issue (so it wasn't a defect).
They look nice and durable, but we returned them after using them for 5 minutes.

Comments about REI Camp Chair:
Reasonable price and comfortable.
They are listed as having a seat height of 18", but this isn't the case. The front of the chair has a height of 17" and they sag a lot towards the back, so you're actually sitting only about 11" above the ground. The seat edge therefore sticks into your thighs a little. Other than that, they are comfortable.
I'm 5'9" and 140 lbs yet I feel the chair is a touch on the narrow side.
I like the bag which comes with it.
Not had it long enough to judge how well it stands up to normal usage.

Comments about REI Camp Chair:
Pretty decent craft quality - a bit scoopy in the seat and straight backed however it gets comfortable when you've settled in or put your feet up. Nice and compact, sturdy. For the sale price it's well worth it! Would look at others in the $35 dollar range if it isn't on sale..

Comments about REI Camp Chair:
The chair is low so if someone uses the front arm support tubes to help themselves to stand up the tube snaps at the drilled thru pin location (hole in tubing).

Comments about REI Camp Chair:
My husband purchased this chair for himself. Our kids swim competitively year-round. This chair fits him (he's 5'9" and weighs approx. 250 lbs). It's lightweight, easy to carry around, and is durable. No complaints here.

Comments about REI Camp Chair:
Three years of constant use: camping, teaching, backyard parties, etc. Not a single issue with it. Durability is NOT a problem. The seat is comfort for me (6'2") and my wife (5'5") so seems to fit most adults. In short, one of the best camp chairs we've ever owned.

Comments about REI Camp Chair:
Bought this chair to use at a storytelling festival. Five hours after I first sat in it, the chair was broken. One of the metal tubes that run up to the armrests buckled and bent in half when I pushed off while standing up. Not the most comfortable chair, either, but better than the chairs at the festival. Cheap price, cheap construction.

Comments about REI Camp Chair:
I was expecting a different chair when I bought this one and was disappointed that I paid [$] for this chair that I could have got for [$] somewhere else. Not comfortable for the price. Only used it once and returned it. Would recommend only if massively on sale.
