Comments about Keen Arroyo Pedal Bike Shoes - Men's:
I was at a REI store and saw these, really wasn't looking for a shoe, but said to myself, " I think my feets will fit in those"
I have wide feet ( 4E) so getting a good fit on a bike shoe is next to impossible.
Now if you have normal width feet, you may want to try before you buy, these suckers are wide. Good for my feets, maybe not so good for yours.
These are ultra comfortable, and have great ventilation, but it comes at a price. You aren't going to win the Tour de Anything in these. The very things that make these cool and comfortable make them useless for any serious grinding. The sole is stiff enough, but the upper, with it's cutouts, is too flexible.
Still, as a every day knock-a-round shoe, these can't be beat.
My feets love them, and so do I.

Comments about Keen Arroyo Pedal Bike Shoes - Men's:
This is my first pair of Keen cycling shoes and first time using anything with Crank Brothers. In spite of them being made in China, the build quality of these shoes is outstanding throughout.
They wear comfortably on and off the bike, and interface perfectly with my crank bros. mallet pedals. If I was only gonna own 1 pair of bike shoes (and I do now!), these would so be it. Can't wait to take them on tour next spring.
If I have 1 knock on them it's not really even the product's fault but yeaah they're so well ventilated that in cold weather they're pretty chilly. They're sandals, they're hole-y, what'd I expect?! The cold is still easily managed with a bit of neoprene thermal socks and thermal insoles or booties.
I wear em in 11.5. As far as sizing goes, people with wide (2 or 3E) feet such as myself can breathe a sigh of relief because they fit like a glove, no crowding of toes or struggling to get in and out of these shoes.
Quality!

Comments about Keen Arroyo Pedal Bike Shoes - Men's:
The shoe feels very comfortable. Very well ventialted, keeps feet dry. The sole is just hard enough for pushing on the pedals. With SPD cleats installed, it can also be used as a regular shoe for walking short distances. I really like this lacing with the quick spring lock. You can put a shoe on and take it off literally in a couple of seconds.

They are my first pair of bike shoes. I find them very comfortable and easy to use. They are not good in cold weather, need to remember to wear socks.

Comments about Keen Arroyo Pedal Bike Shoes - Men's:
I will use this shoe for my recreational and touring rides. I have wide feet and have had chronic pain in my forefoot for sometime. I bought this sandal hoping the wide width would help relieve the pain. I have done rides of 25 to 60 miles in the shoes and so far no pain. Outstanding! The shoes are comfortable and easy to walk in which is great for touring and stopping to see the sites.

Comments about Keen Arroyo Pedal Bike Shoes - Men's:
Although not as wide as my other Keens, these were wide enough for my extra wide feet. Comfortable and the clips are well hidden.I have yet to walk further than 2km, but they feel like a 20k would not be a problem. Light, nice, and (if you like the Keen style) stylish. The clips were a bit fiddly to fit, but they are solid and the soles stiff without being a problem for walking.

Comments about Keen Arroyo Pedal Bike Shoes - Men's:
First off, I am a Keen fanatic and this is my umpteenth pair. I have purchased these for a cycling vacation to Ireland in June. While they seem a bit large compared to previous keens I have purchased in the same size, they are comfortable and do not seem to slip on my foot. They are comfortable for walking and there is no "click" from the cleat hitting the ground, as they are well recessed. The sole is firm enough for pedaling and also have good flex for walking (caveat) I have only worn them on even surfaces and stair). I use these with the shimano PD-M324 pedals. I could stand and pedal, and there were no issues with the shoes releasing from the pedal. Overall a good first impression. Four stars for now, until I use them more.
