Laminated polyester surface fabric is durable, airtight and humidity resistant; nonslip finish keeps you on the pad

So like any exped product, this one is a winner too. I also own their synmat7. I got this pad beacuse I started car camping more than backpacking and wanted something nice and fluffy unlike a cheapo air matress. Inflation took 24hrs this first time around, but since then no problems inflation takes 20-30mins. Easy to deflate and pack. Nice materials, rugged and held my big self in place no issue.

Call me crazy, but this thing did not feel like it weighed the 64oz it was advertised at, so to the scale it went. An even 3lbs. Now at 3lbs, call me crazy but I might take it backpacking cause it is that comfy and I would carry the extra pound for a better nights sleep. It would be bulky, but if you sleep better the next day will be better.

There is only 1 thing I didn't like at first. The edges, they curve down a little bit. This could make it easy for someone to slip off IF they sleep with a very firm mat, I don't so no issue here. I've spent 3 nights on it so far. I should add I am a side sleeper and this is the most comfortable mat I have ever used. Well worth the money!
