Comments about NEMO Obi 2P Tent:
This burly little tent held up through high winds and rain on a four day bike trip across the Denali Highway in Alaska. It is super quick and easy to set up, it is light, packs down small, and has a great design. I was able to take the tent down in the rain from the inside without getting it wet AND there is enough room between the fly and the tent to hang damp clothes overnight. It was a treat to wake up to dry clothes.
The stuff sack is the perfect size and shape to stuff full of clothes for a pillow. One suggestion would be to add a lightweight fuzzy side to the stuff sack for pillow comfort.
This tent is fantastic!!

Comments about NEMO Obi 2P Tent:
This tent is really amazing. it has two vestibules that will fit a backpack and some boots. the Jake's foot on the four corners of the tent allow for simple organized attachment of poles footprint and fly. this tent does not have much room for humans however. It will be a tight squeeze but if you are comfortable with the person it will be okay if not this tent is still great as a large solo tent. Perfect.. Also i will check this again if anyone has a question i will be glad to answer.

Comments about NEMO Obi 2P Tent:
First of all, I 'm a fan of NEMO products ... I have a Tenshi which I absolutely love... other reviews I've read have a common theme of NEMO tents being too cramped .... I agree. But with a single wall mountaineering tent, it can be an asset. OK onto the OBI.... I was really excited to pick up the latest NEMO concoction. It's ultra light, can be packed down to the size of a grapefruit and is very easy to set up. But here's my concern....
1. I'm a tight pitch fan who holds "bombproof" over and above bells and whistles.. I can cede an ounce or two, but thats just me..... On first pitch, I was concerned .... but have to admit, after a few days, allowing the fly and fabric to stretch and settle ... given the ultra light materials and single pole design.... the OBI is alright. It takes a little tweaking and nuance, but it does stand firm.
2. The Fly just does not integrate into the tent body. There are two vents on each side of the fly's double zipper.... In a light but steady rain .... rain drops fell right into the tent..... also, any condensation will spill directly into the tent upon opening the the fly... wakes you up in a hurry but otherwise really unpleasant.
3. The jakes foot .... is clever and easy to set up.... but man, it's gonna break ... every time I try to unhook the fly clip I wince .... If the Jake breaks a few days into a backcountry foray... you're screwed.
4. It's NOT a two person tent..... I mentioned the Tenshi earlier, But C'mon this a three season tent ... marketed for ultralight enthusiasts....
.............. Bottom line, like I said, I'd rather carry a few more ounces and sleep really well, than breeze the trail, wake up wet and probably hate my partner at the end of our trek. I love ya NEMO... I am returning this this tent ... but will exchange it for a Losi 3 .... see how that goes. It is refreshing and inspiring to see what the folks at NEMO are doing ... I just don't think they got it right with the OBI.

Comments about NEMO Obi 2P Tent:
I recently hiked San Jacinto mountain when a storm came in dumping 18" of snow. Consistent 50 mph winds the entire night and a wind chill of -17 degrees. This is a 3 season tent but I must say it held up strong with additional tie downs and had no condensation problems. Even being buried halfway! (have pics for proof). Although I've used this tent several times before with no problems I thought this last trip deserved a comment.
I'm 5'7 and 170 lbs and fits me and my gear well but I would not sleep 2 adults. So if there is a down side that would be it. Definitely the black belt martial artist NEMO claims it to be!
