Comments about REI Camp Bed 2.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Regular - 2007 Closeout:
Love this mattress! It's super plush and comfy and my hips never bottom out even when I'm lying on my side. It's wide enough so that when I'm lying on my back my elbows don't fall off the mat. The fabric is a bit rough so my sleeping bag stays put without slithering off in the middle of the night. It's easy to clean by wiping it off, and I like the neutral color. The push-pull valve makes it easy to finish inflating (only a few puffs needed) without all the oral gymnastics. It's warm even on a frozen ground. It is bulky, but since it's intended for car camping, a few extra inches and pounds don't matter much. Mine came with a stuff sack and two straps to hold it all in place. Just a minor nitpick: it would be nice to have a carry handle welded onto the mattress because my hands are too small to grasp the mattress and carry when it's inflated. Also the stuff sack would benefit from a carry handle and a grap strap at the end. But these don't detract from the quality of the mattress. This is a comfortable, reasonably priced camping mattress.

Comments about REI Camp Bed 2.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Regular - 2007 Closeout:
This is a great camping mat, its a little hart to pack and just to heavy to back pack with (3 lbs gets really heavy after 3 hours of hiking) after reading the comment above I would just advise to reade the instructions on how to properly inflate the mat

Comments about REI Camp Bed 2.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Regular - 2007 Closeout:
I own two of these myself and have bought one for both of my sisters. We love them! The camp beds inflate on their own, but I always blow extra air in to it to make it firm and comfortable enough for me. I have camped with it in 20 degree weather and it helped keep me warm. I have slept on it for eight nights consecutively with very little discomfort. Granted its not like sleeping on a bed, but it is designed for camping and is very comfortable considering.

Comments about REI Camp Bed 2.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - Regular - 2007 Closeout:
Purchased two to use during my child's school field trip with indoor sleepover to sleep on the concrete floor (I was a chaperon). The pad did not inflate to 2.5" - it was more like 1" and even my 50 pound child didn't get any comfort from the pad.
