            This is by far the best instructional book for all kinds of climbing. It covers everything from rock, ice, & mixed technique, to glacier travel, crevasse rescue, & high-altitude expeditions. Not only is it extremely detailed, but it also has diagrams to help you understand the concepts. If you you want to start climbing or just get more into it, then this is the book for you.
