Comments about CamelBak Skeeter Hydration Pack - 50 fl. oz. - Kids':
I've started to camp and hike more with my kids, and utilize a hydration pack myself (though not Camelbak) for short day hikes and my road cycling.
My kids always wanted to wear my 100oz. pack, but were too small to carry it.
I bought 2 of these kids' packs for Xmas presents, and they love them. Easily adjustable, and easy for my kids to operate the mouthpiece. The bladder is so much smaller than mine and fills up quickly. These are small enough for kids to utilize while bike riding - my daughter was quick to brave the cold winter temps to prove that to me.
My only issue at all is in the design. And all Camelbaks have the best no-leak mouth pieces - I've even replaced my other bladders with Camelbak mouthpieces. I just don' like the large threaded cap. It's easy to get cross-threaded (and just as easy to get right), but it's hard to fill up and not spill while trying to screw the cap back on. This is fine if the bladder is totally removed from the pack, but I prefer to just pull enough of the bladder out to expose the cap.
Overall, these are still great packs. My kids love them, and so do I.
