Comments about evolv Evo Rock Shoes:

I been using these shoes for indoor and outdoor climbing for about a year now, and they are all-around solid. They can be used comfortably without much hassle getting them on and off, yet feel secure when climbing. The only (little) con is that they slip on rock a tad more easily than some other shoes; they aren't quite perfect for outdoor smearing.

Comments about evolv Evo Rock Shoes:

Pretty comfortable for rock climbing shoes - which are uncomfortable by design. I have never used these shoes outside, but they work well for the rock gym.

Some people swear by laces, because it provides more customization. I'm not exactly a pro climber, but I've never had a problem with the velcro. One of the big pluses of the velcro, of course, is the ability to take them on and off easily. That's a big plus if you like to give your foot a little extra room to breathe while you're belaying for a friend or resting.

I suppose this is the case with any shoe that you wear without socks, but these things can get pretty stinky. Be sure to spray them with disinfectant after each use and let them air out.
