These were great and comfortable. After three days of walking, my skin in a couple of places was getting a little raw, but much better than any other foot gear without socks. They were great walking around a theme park, and have been great for some small hikes.

I bought these sandals as slip-on replacements for those few warm days we enjoy here, and they do a great job at that. The sandals a comfortable fit: flexible at the right times and snug in the right places, which means no chafing or blisters.

With my flat feet, I normally need orthotics and a larger shoe size to accommodate them; given that the sole is rather flat on these sandals, my feet do become sore after a few hours on my feet. However, these sandals do a good job in accommodating for my feet with no chafing by the straps or abnormal compression of the toes.

My only other complaint is that if I try to slide my foot in under a fastened lower strap, the flap that cushions the toes might flip under itself.

I wanted a multi-purpose sandal that was comfortable enough to wear all day, rain or shine. I'm really picky when it comes to footwear, so I tried on multiple styles and brands, narrowing it down to three- A pair of the Men's Chaco Updraft, Keen Newport H2, or the Teva Toachi 2. After trying on each pair numerous times while walking and running around the immediate area, I decided to purchase the Teva Toachi 2's. They were the most comfortable on my feet; they provided good support, but weren't as stiff as the Chacos. They also were more open and allowed my feet to breathe more than the Keens, and the straps on the Tevas were the most comfortable around my feet. I personally liked the looks of the Chacos more (and I did end up buying a different pair of Chacos, and I love them) but when it comes to hiking, spending the day at Six Flags, or for any other activity that will keep me on my feet, I'll grab and wear the Tevas without hesitation. Also, a nice feature is the quick-release buckle on the main strap- this allows you to keep the main strap at your desired tension, and not have to worry about re-adjusting it each time you put them back on to achieve that perfect feel and fit. It may seem trivial and simple, but it's extremely handy. These sandals dry very fast, which is something my sensitive feet definitely appreciate. I've only had these for around 3 months, so I can't comment on durability. I've used them while on some pretty rough trails, and as of now, they're holding up great with no complaints.

Excellent for kayaking. Also used after long distance bike ride camping trip. Change from bike sandals to Tevas, take shower with sandals on and keep on for rest of day.

I have owned Tevas since they first came out and gotten great wear from them. I live in South Florida, and wear them for golf, fishing, boating--the only times I don't is to a funeral or wedding(wife). My last pair were S/N 6996-lasted 3 years-discontinued. Have been trying other styles & brands, but still looking.
