very comfortable, even on first use. At times can feel as if walking barefoot in a protective casing. I did add my own insole, and bought a size larger than normal (size 11 fit the way size 10 fits in other shoes), but they were remarkably comfortable from the moment I tried them on. Stability, traction, etc. were no problem.

I put a lot of miles on these boots immediately after I got them... They were great boots! only really slippery when soles got wet.
But after only 5 days! the side seams starting unraveling... after one month one of the shoes started leaking water... after two months they were dead... very sad because they were so comfortable!
I hope Teva redesigns this boot for the better!

Purchased for work, I read gas meters, rain or shine and these work excellent in the rain or shine. No break in, wore them right out of the box for work, walking 5-10 miles 5 days a week. If they last one year with what I put them through, I will gladly purchase another pair.

I have walked Camino de Santiago and more (over 650 miles) with 25 lb backpack in these shoes. They are so comfortable, light and dry quickly.
My only complaint is that after 150 miles of walking the stitching for two-color fabric started to come apart where foot is flexing. After 450 miles stitching came undone about an inch on both sides of each shoe.
I'd love to to buy this shoe again if Teva used one fabric so as to remove stitching altogether.

This is the best footwear I have ever bought. It took 2 days to break them in and I walked in excess of 2-3 miles a day with no problems. The REI staff in VA was the best. They recommended the best hiker and socks. I love this store and the staff. I also purchase a rain jacket for my trip and stayed warm and dry both body and feet. Rei is the best.

Like other reviewers, my pair began to fray at the side seams the first day of significant use (long day hike). Too bad -- they're comfy, low profile, lightweight -- but they don't look like they're going to last. Obiviously a design flaw the Teva will hopefully correct on future models. I'm gonna have to return these.

These boots are so good, I am writing a review for the first time in my life. I took them out of the box and then went for a 5 hour hike along The Walk of the Gods carrying a light pack. They were stable, comfortable, and surprising light. I have put these boots through a whole lot in the past 7 months and despite lots of long vertical climbs and descents and hours of walk down rocky paths or hours walking through city streets - my feet are always ready to go. I have gotten so much use out of these boots, that I am buying a second pair... just to have them in case this pair wears out.

I've been backpacking in these around the trails near home and I've been happy so far. Crossing small streams were fine. Waterproof and dries quick on outside. Pretty light for hiking shoes. The traction is good. It's still pretty new so I haven't had the stitching problems that others talk about. I like them so much that I'm going to buy another pair for future use.
