After wearing VFFs for about a year and a half, I've gotten tired of all the stares and questions, and have been looking for minimalist toe-less shoes to wear on occasions when I don't want to draw attention to my feet. I just tried these on today, and I really wish the sole was thinner. I had a VFF Sprint on one foot and the Zilch on the other, and the Zilch sole felt downright bulky in comparison. However, they are much more tolerable than my Chacos, and I'm excited to have a semi-minimalist sandal for summer.

Also, the width is great! I have really wide feet and am unable to wear the Merrell Glove line of shoes, but these aren't at all restricting.

I wore this every single day during the summer and every day at work until it got too cold (I am a teacher in the community and walk all day). I love these sandals. They go with jeans, khaki pants, shorts, and sundresses. I have worn these to walk around town, climb rocky terrain, shop, go to work, wade across streams, and just around town. The are flexible and don't have all the support that makes my feet hurt. I prefer to be barefoot, but sometimes a person just have to have shoes on. That's what these are for. I thought I would hate the toe loop, but after about 4 hours on the first day, I forgot it was there.

I was looking for a minimalist open-toed sandal that gave me a barefoot feel. When I tried them on they felt wonderful, except for the toe loop. It was tight and constricting. I bought the sandals thinking the toe loop might loosen. I even tried tugging on it (many times). Nothing. I wore the sandals twice, and except for the toe loop, they were wonderful. I ended up returning them, solely because of the loop. Teva, please remake these sandals without the loop!
