by fromUn Adjustable I had to send these back. The "adjustable" straps wouldn't budge.

by fromBlisters, lots of blisters I bought these and they felt good in the store, though a little stiff, I thought they'd be good for walking/hiking. Got them home, wore them once, and almost returned them...decided not to...but opted to detatch and resew/shorten the back strap because it didn't touch my foot at all, and that was causing me to slide backwards and get a blister on the back edge of of my heel. My sewing adjustment worked and looks perfect (don't try this yourself, it's complicated and I am a pro seamstress), no more slipping back, but now my left heel keeps rubbing up against the outside of the heel cup. I can walk in these for about a mile and a half but then I get a blister. I mean, I'm used to breaking shoes in and getting a few blisters and then later on you don't get them, but not with these. I've worn them a LOT. Bottom of toe blisters, side foot blisters, etc. Every time a blister. The bottom sole of the shoe is pretty rough, so if you have sensitive feet I'd avoid these. It's like getting a reflexology treatment walking in them- probably good for you but not so comfortable, a little like walking on textured stone. I'll be going back to my softer soled Teva's next buy.

by fromComplicated Strap Adjustments I really want to like these sandals (I use them for dragon-boat practice) but the strap adjustments are ridiculous! It's very difficult for me to get these straps adjusted just right. And when I finally do get them adjusted, as soon as I walk a bit in them, the straps begin to tighten around my big toes cutting off the circulation.Any shoe that needs a youtube instructional video (with over 16,000 views!) explaining step-by-step how to adjust the straps is not a great sandal! If you are not ready to give up yet, check out the video that explains step-by-step how to adjust the straps: [@]Complicated!! and the adjustment doesn't stick! I have to keep re-adjusting them or my big toes get tingly from loss of circulation. I may end up returning these to REI [...].But I'm going to keep trying for awhile before giving up because for the few minutes that they are adjusted correctly they feel great and are good for dragon-boating.

by fromSpendy but worth it I broke my foot a few years back and so the summer has been brutal becasue I must wear something with a suitable sole so my foot doesn't hurt or worse, get reinjured. These are amazing. I wear them everyday walking in the city, commuting, playing, hiking. Take a little breaking in and finding the right adjustment, but once that's settled these are perfect. Have worn them all summer and hardly worn at all. Think they will last me many years. I prefer the solid thick strap. I had some with the two thin straps and they tended to chafe my toe. No such problem on these. I highly recommend them. Wish they came in more colors.

by fromGreat Shoes!!!!!!!!! Great shoes that are easy to adjust. I own 4 pairs of these and 2 of various flip flop styles that I have had for several years. Would not trade for anything else. They are easy to clean great for kayaking & light hiking. I wear them daily to work where I am on my feet all day on concrete. They do take a few days to break in but well worth it. Great arch supports and highly recommend to anyone with plantar fasciitis.

by fromSuper Comfortable I use these shoes for hiking and backpacking primarily. They are super comfortable and durable and hold up great for long distances. I got some blisters at first, but once I got the straps adjusted they fit like a dream. I've had my current pair for 4 years, now they're getting a little worn and I'll definitely be getting another pair.

by fromAlways on the go in my Chacos This is my second pair of Z/2s! The first day I wore them I had a little chafing on my inner ankle because the webbing was really stiff and it always takes me a day or two to get new Chacos broken in and getting the straps adjusted just right. The pattern is quite brilliant on these and they are a little brighter in real life than in the photos. I love the webbing on these!
