I wear a size 12, at times a 11.5. I decided to buy the size 47 of these shoes. When I buy shoes, I always go for the regular width. The only time I didn't and thought going wide was a good move, the shoes ended up considerably too wide. Shimano's shoes run rather slim which initially concerned me. I was about to return them for a larger size, but after reading more on the topic, decided to give them a test run. Even though they felt a bit tight in the width initially, they were very comfortable during the ride. They are not made for wide feet, slimmer feet should fit perfectly.

I bought these after wearing out a pair of Sidi Genius 5 road shoes. I wore the left toe out by unclicking at stop lights. Great shoe that I loved but expensive. I wanted a good durable replacement. These shoes fit the bill. Less than half the price and seem to work just as well. I have pretty narrow feet so usually just rip and stick doesnt cut it, (even with SIDI), the buckle functions just as well and it snugs up tightly and securely. I wear an 11 or 11.5US and the size 46 fit me pretty well. It seems they may not breathe as well but for the price you can't beat them. Definitely would recommend. Kind of goofy looking though. Easy to walk in SPD, I have always used Looks so this is a new thing being able to walk in cleats.....
