I bought these pants because I had been climbing in a pair of capris with a tree sap stain on the butt that fell down.

I really like the mid-rise height (no more underwear showing when I high step!) and the snap closure is very secure- and the material is great. It doesn't feel stretchy but it has great give.

I think these are great for casual wear. Somehow chalk really gets stuck on them, which is the only minus I've seen so far. The construction and material are really excellent and I am happy with my first item from Kuhl

I bought a size 8 at my local REI and since they didn't have a size 6, I ordered one on line so I could compare before I wear. The 8 seemed to fit well enough in the store, but I was curious to see if I could get into the 6. (I'm mostly a 6, but if a brand is an athletic fit I can be an 8. This is my first Kuhl purchase, so I had no experience with sizing.) When I tried on the 6, they gave me a HORRIBLE muffin top. Convinced I needed the 8, I wore them for a day. With one wearing, the 8 was practically falling down to my knees. I decided that if the fabric stretches out that much, the 6 would probably stretch enough to fit, so I then wore the 6 for a day. I was right- the 6 is now perfect, and to keep them that way I never, ever put them in the dryer.[...] One other thing- I purchased the Aluminum color. It is NOT gray! It is more of a taupy beige, which is exactly what I wanted. The flower design in the rear is really cute, too, and I get lots of compliments. Kind of a rocky start, but now I love these capris!

My husband and son absolutely LOVE their Kuhl shorts and men's capri's...so, I was delighted to find they had them in women's! I ordered them straight away, in my true size. The fabric felt wonderful to touch, and I was delighted with the purchase until I modeled the purchase and was met with (coughs-and oh-oh's)! Apparently, the "stretch" in the fabric in the area of the crotch leaves one experiencing a cleft at the center seam, thus resembling the foot of a camel. It was an embarrassment! With that said, I would not recommend anyone shying away from these pants if you can try them on at a retail store FIRST and you can note if your body type fits nicely into these without the CT!
