The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Big Agnes Big Creek +30 Sleeping Bag:
I love this sleeping bag. I've had it for 2 years now and use if for backpacking. I'm 6'9" so I can't realistically expect something that isn't custom made to actually fit me. This bag is almost long enough. If it was an inch longer it would fit. At 4 and a half pounds it's heavy for a backpacking sleeping bag, but not really when you consider that it's a double. My girlfriend carries the bag and I carry the 2 person tent. So in the end, it's lighter than carrying your own ultra light bag and tent. There are also a lot of nice thoughtful things in the design. The stuff sack head rests are nice. You don't need to bring pillows. You can just stick some clothes in there. And the lack of fill on the bottom so that you can insert your sleeping pad is brilliant. It keeps weight down and it also keeps your pads from sliding around.
My only complaints are the +30 rating is probably a little generous and the zippers could be better. We have to start adding layers if it gets below 40. But I should mention that we are both rail thin and get cold very easily, so maybe that's just us. My other gripe is that the zippers aren't the smoothest. It's not so much that they snag, they just aren't smooth....I dunno...It's hard to explain. They aren't horrible, but they could be better.

Comments about Big Agnes Big Creek +30 Sleeping Bag:
We paired this bag with a couple Q-Core pads and Exped air pillows and WOW what a comfortable sleeping system for two.
Just returned from our first pack trip with this and love it, love it, love it.
One of my favorite things is that you can leave the pads and pillows in the sleeves, fold it all up and slip it into a XL SnS E-vent dry compression sack. Once compressed the entire two person system drops into the sleeping bag compartment of my pack -- smaller than some of my old one person summer bags. Technology has come a loooong way since I last upgraded. :-)
We will certainly upgrade to the down version of this bag once we get into the fall or higher altitudes.
If you pair with the Exped air pillow, get the large as it fits the sleeve tightly and perfectly (inflate after slipping into sleeve).
Currently I can't even find anything to nit pic about.

Comments about Big Agnes Big Creek +30 Sleeping Bag:
we used 2 rei 1.75 trekkers with this an froze our butts off even with an extra fleece blanket. there was a large gap in the middle an the cold from the ground made it impossible to warm this thing up. it's also way to big an with the pads being the bottom it's difficult to keep an edge of the bag tucked under you. in my area i would not use this for any thing other than summer camping so we returned it for something that we could use for more time out of the year.

Comments about Big Agnes Big Creek +30 Sleeping Bag:
Just a couple of tips of you like to internet shop like me. First: This bag is extremely compressable for it's size. I was able to easily fit it in the bag compartment of my Baltoro 75 pack. So for couples backpacking, it's really ideal. Second: When purchasing pads to go with the bag, BA's square, short pads will work best. I had gotten two 72" long mummy pads with out really thinking, and while they do work, they're not a perfect fit. Aside from that, the bag is plenty roomy for the two of us and feels very comfy. I agree with the other reviewers comments, it's an awesome bag.

Comments about Big Agnes Big Creek +30 Sleeping Bag:
First off I LOVE this bag. The first trip in it was great for my wife and I. We had more than enough room and it was plenty warm enough even with the temp dropping into the low 30s. VERY roomy we even had enough room for my 3 year old when she wanted to sleep with us in the middle of the night. we Love the design of the bag making almost individule hoods for the sleepers and the pillow sacks for your jacket. and it also has a huge foot box for moving around and gear storage for cold nights. it actually packs down pretty small considering it is a 2 person bag. great for couples backpaking!
